Internet Resource Directory Computer Resources

On this page you will find links to some great computer related resources. In the two years I've had my computer, I've had many questions & problems to solve. (& Still do!!!!!) These links are the result of many hours of searching for the answers,from reformating, installing a new hard drive or finding the most current drivers, to finding great software programs for fun & learning. Hopefully these pages can help you find the resources you need & spare you the many hours I spent looking for the answers!

Have you ever thought your computer acted like our little friends at the top of the screen? (I've named mine "HAL", if you don't get that, rent the movie "2001"!)

How many times have you seen the "BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH" (Clue: NOT A "B" GRADE MOVIE!) or had to use the "THREE FINGER SALUTE"? (Clue: NOT AN OBSCENE GESTURE but might as well be!)

Have you ever loaded a cool new program only to be informed you're missing a DLL file & you're thinking "what the heck is DLL (Clue: NOT A PICKLE!) & where do I get one? (CLUE: NOT THE REFRIGERATOR!)

Do you need an updated "DRIVER"? (Clue: NOT A LIMO SERVICE!)

If you've never experienced any of these problems, you a) don't own a computer; b) are a compulsive liar; c) need to finally trade in your COMMADORE64! or d) obviously not running Windows!
For the rest of us (!) we need help from time to time! Friends are a great resource, but sometimes they aren't available or don't know the answers.
