My first exposure to fractals came when I saw some amazing images that a friend, Will Engdahl, had at a mineral symposium. I was immediately struck by these incredible images as he explained that he had created them using a software program on his computer. That started me on a search about fractals that has now grown into this website. Will created the fractals profiled in these galleries using the fractal program Fractint.
