1) I have made some changes to the RGB color controls in this image. Go ahead and type in the RGB values that you see here. You can then cycle the color using the Forward, Reverse, Cycle buttons until the Starting value boxes match or simply type in the numbers in those boxes as well. You can also slide the sliders to the right of the buttons until they match.
2) Now select the Color menu from the toolbar. From here you can change the basic RGB (Red, Green, Blue) values. ( Don't confuse this with the Red, Green & Blue values in the Color Controls window which can also be changed for each basic RGB value ). You can see in this image that the GRB value has a check mark next to it. Select BRG ( Blue,Red,Green) from this menu. This swaps the Green values in the image to Blue, Red stays the same and Blue is switched to Green. Follow me? ;-)
3)
You can now see the changes that the GRB to BRG have made. Note the other RGB value combinations that can also be tried, we have just used two! In addition all of the color filters from Color-1 and Color-2 menus will further change this RGB value. See, this program has LOTS of potential for working with color! ;-)
4)
You can see that I have also changed the values in the Color Control window again. Go ahead and match these numbers as well. You can see from the examples we have used so far that the DEPTH of color we are getting is a substantial improvement over our starting images, even though the color itself is not too appealing yet ( At least to me! ).
Let's move on to the next steps.
